Attention @ everyone wondering about / spiraling over all the speculation that Beyoncé and Taylor Swift will be collaborating on a song for Bey's upcoming album Renaissance: Act II...there's an update! Quick background: Killah B, one of Beyoncé's producers who co-wrote "Texas Hold 'Em," hinted at a possible collab while chatting with TMZ recently. When asked about featured artists—and specifically Taylor—potentially being on Beyoncé's album, he said, "Let's just say, she's on the approach of shocking the world. I'll let your imagination decide what that means."
Shortly after this, Killah B took to Instagram and posted the following headline alongside the caption, "Now @tmz_tv I never mention Taylor yall did! 😂😂😂 but it definitely will be an amazing album! 🔥🔥🔥."
Sooooooooo....is Taylor going to be featured on Renaissance: Act II? Despite the fact that the musicians are good friends (and recently supported each other's concert films!), sadly nope. Not so much.
After TMZ had everyone spiraling with all ^ this ^, Entertainment Weekly spoke with "a source with knowledge of the situation" (BEYONCÉ IS THAT YOU?), who confirmed that Taylor is—as the outlet put it—"not featured on Bey's new record in any way."
A reminder that the celeb has already released two songs from Renaissance: Act II, "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages," which are both killing it on the charts. The full album is slated to debut on March 29, so PREPARE YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY! And while we're on the subject of releases, Taylor's new album The Tortured Poets Department drops on April 19. Cant! Wait!!!!!
